Long mocked for my tendency to start conversations with strangers, I am surprised that for the first time, I am approached by more strangers than I approach. Canadians are surely the most friendly people on the planet.
Last night I finished packing 22 kg worth of clothes, protein bars, and hiking gear and spent my last night of residency in my San Francisco, CA apartment. Jessica couldn't hide her excitement to be part of my send off. Sorry she and Marla can't make it to join Amanda and me in Caracas.
